Csíki Csaba: Keep Calm, Slow Music is Playing (2020)

About the artist: Csíki Csaba graduated from the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca in 2002, and subsequently completed DLA studies in Intermedia at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest. For many years, he has also been a recognized creator in stage set and costume design for theatre.

Exhibition concept: The exhibition was inspired by the natural disasters taking place in our environment, the pollution of the biosphere, and the often superficial lifestyle choices of modern humans. The masked child figures appearing in the artwork confront us with parental responsibility: while we would "do anything for our children," our flawed decisions endanger the very thing that matters most—a healthy future. The works remind us: nature will carry on without us, but we can only breathe through it.
